Welcome and thanks for dropping by my corner of the world, where I talk about the intersection of working full time, being a wife and mom to two little girls, and my love for all things beauty and style.
My official foray into the beauty industry was in 2009 as a Makeup Artist for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. It wasn't long before I began freelancing and shortly thereafter Bateman Beauty was born. My work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine, Washingtonian Magazine, Washingtonian Bride & Groom Magazine, The Washington Post, District Weddings, Refinery29 and more.
As my life has changed, so too have my priorities and interests. I find myself on a daily quest to simplify life - and to help others do the same. My goal for this blog is to share my favorite finds, tips and tricks and hope you find inspiration somewhere along the way.
Using my keen eye for style and knack for organization I'm also now offering personalized wardrobe consultations and closet editing sessions to those interested in sorting through the clutter and chaos.
Feel free to leave a comment, follow me on social media, or reach out to inquire about setting up your personal editing sessions.
